Ro Devlog 4
I've been pretty busy with modeling essentially the whole semester, and that isn't going to stop now! I started making a second reference for more assets, but I was advised to actually FINISH modeling of the first reference sheet before making a new one, so right now, I'm taking that advice! I won't lie, I wanted to avoid some of the things I made on the first reference sheet that I thought I would have a hard time translating to the 3D world, but it really wasn't so bad! You need a surprisingly few amount of polys to replicate something being "round".
At this point, essentially all of the objects I drew in both reference sheets are finished. There's a few odd things like the candles and stool, but these aren't super duper essential to the final build of the game.
I haven't gotten around to it yet, but it's about time I finally start working on shading code for our game. I have a few ideas on things I want to do, but I will need a day or two to refresh myself with how the code works. With the due date coming a bit faster than I'd like, and other classes' final projects being expected, I don't have as much time as I'd like to spare. Still, I'll do what I can!
