Ro Devlog 2

Being one of the many artists on the team, we all sorta chose (or was assigned to) what we wanted to focus on and ran with it. Marcy would focus on characters and animations, Tyty would focus on UI and graphic design, and I would do environmental art and modeling. Those still-life drawings I sent to Marcy before I joined the team really have sent me far, as I've gone from drawing the environment to now modeling the environment. This week, I haven't really gotten to making any 3D models (I have been sick with the stomach flu all weekend, THIS SUCKS SO MUCH), even though I really want to. Luckily, I'm not empty-handed! I know exactly what I want to make, and I have drawn a reference sheet with all of the items I plan on modeling by the end of the semester, all thanks to the real-life reference that is the Neuschwanstein Castle. They have a whole website with photos of rooms, so I get to reference real castle things and make my own versions! I will be making a second reference sheet later, but this first one has all the super important bits like the bridge and other bridge-related props. I'm also supposed to make some shaders in the future, but right now, my job is making environmental assets!
